PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

403 Stainless Steel Coil Description

The chromium content in 403 stainless steel coil provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. It also has good mechanical properties, including high hardness, toughness and wear resistance. However, it is not as corrosion-resistant as other stainless steels such as 304 or 316 and may not be suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. The Nickel element helps 403 stainless steel form stable austenite and obtain a complete austenite structure, providing the steel with better strength, plasticity and toughness, as well as excellent hot and cold workability, cold formability, weldability, low temperature and non-magnetic. Additionally, it improves the thermodynamic stability of 403 stainless steel.
